Your role

• Demonstrate creativity and innovation in the development of designs and solutions while maintaining safety and balancing operational flexibility, reliability and whole-life cost.
• Prepare and model track alignment & profile drawings, trackplan schematics, trackwork specifications, and yard and maintenance facility general layouts, cross sections and details.
• Interface with multi-discipline teams.
• Provide construction support services including shop drawing reviews, RFIs, Non-conformance reports, as-built survey analysis. etc.
• Perform occasional field engineering services.

About you

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 1-5 years' experience in Design.
• Registration with PEO as an EIT is required; as a P.Eng is an asset.
• Use of Civil 3D is an asset.
• Strong CAD skills with AutoCAD.
• Detail-oriented, team player, resourceful, self-starter.
• Able to handle multiple scopes on multiple projects simultaneously.
