Supervises a team that is responsible for developing and implementing all control and automation strategies in operating facilities and for project work
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for administering performance planning, performance evaluations, coaching, and career path management.
- Establishes interfaces to project teams to ensure stakeholder expectations are fully understood and included in project work.
- Identifies opportunities for improvements in all process control and automation facets of existing facilities.
- Provides technical support and develops recommendations to Operations.
- Works closely with control and information systems (CIS), technical leadership team, central APC organization, and operations to drive work process improvements.
- Supports the MOC, PHA, SOA, AOA and Hazop processes: Provides guidance and suggested directions on Regulatory issues affecting process control and automation strategy implementation.
Required Qualifications:
- BS Engineering degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of controls engineering experience.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, communication, mentorship abilities, technical knowledge of oil/gas processes, experience in advanced process control, awareness of automation technologies, and the ability to manage small projects and multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BS chemical or electrical engineering degree.
- 5+ years in oil and gas process control engineering / leadership.
- Aspen Technologies DMC3 modeling and support experience.
- Honeywell DCS (EPKS and/or TDC3000) awareness/experience.

- The anticipated salary range for this position is $153,900 - $266,800. The selected candidate's compensation will be determined based on their skills, experience, and qualifications.
