This Position reports to:
Business Manager - Commercial&Operations

Overall Summary

Drives sales and market growth by defining, planning, and ensuring the implementation of product marketing strategies in line with Local Division Strategy and global product strategy. Oversees Product Marketing activities and supports Sales team in driving high sales performance.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Creating , planning, and ensuring the implementation of the local go-to-market product marketing strategy, including defining and communicating product value propositions and product positioning .
  • Demonstrates leadership in the organization to e nsure achievement of established targets by overseeing progress and defining improvement actions as needed.
  • Evaluates market opportunities, determines appropriate activities aligned with the overall strategy, and coordinates opportunities across Local Business Line /Product Line with appropriate market pricing policy and strategy.
  • Develops and implements annual marketing plan in collaboration with relevant Local Business Line/Product Line. Driving business development for defined and potential market, ensuring business profitable growth.
  • Creates product demand by promoting technical aspects, providing solutions, and utilizing value-based selling approach.
  • Focuses on achievement of the target set for metrics like total demand orders, growth margin percentage, net price variance, Net Promoter Score (NPS) as requested. Drives continuous improvement on NPS by visiting customers to understand their needs and ensuring the resolution of customer issues for the high customer satisfaction.
  • Build an effective, capable and high performance team.

  • Cooperate with Sales team to reach and exceed sales targets.
  • Level up thinking, collaboration across team and business to maximize ABB winning opportunities at market.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor or above, majoring in Electrical Engineering or related is preferred.
  • At least 10 years' working experience in MV Switchgears/Components marketing or sales field.
  • People management experience, solid in people development and performance management.
  • Deep understanding of MV Switchgears/Components market in China, familiar with competitors' movement with mature market intelligence skill sets.
  • Team spirit and good communication skills.
  • Good English skill, both in written and conversation.
