MISSIONS / SERVICE DIMENSIONS
This service will be based in UK, Bristol with regular mission to Aberdeen, Singapore & Batam to cover the SPS Contract execution. Under the responsibility of the SPS Technical Lead, the service holder will manage all aspects related to the design, engineering, qualification, and delivery of Xtree, Wellhead, PGB, Tubing Hanger, Workover systems for the Absheron development
ACTIVITIES
HSE:
AUDIT
Plan, organize and monitor any internal or external audits related to SPS Engineering and ensure timely expedition engineering-related findings
INTERFACES
Coordinate with other SPS engineers and Absheron packages (SURF, Onshore, Drilling, etc.) and Company HQ team to ensure design consistency.

OBJECTIVES
CONTEXT & ENVIRONMENT
The Absheron Conventional Gas & Condensates field is located offshore Azerbaijan Republic in the Caspian Sea in 500 meters depth, at about 100km southeast of Baku, 25km north-east of Shah Deniz field and 34km south of Oil Rocks production and processing facilities. The offshore subsea gas pipeline will be tied into the greenfield onshore Central Processing Facility (CPF) for Gas Condensate separation and compression. The onshore CPF facility has been designed for a capacity of 450 MMscfd of gas and 38,000 barrels per day of condensate. The project aims at supplying natural gas for both domestic market and for international export market via the South Caucasus Pipeline (SCP). Condensate is routed to Sangachal Terminal for stabilization.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Familiarity with Marine Operations using Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV).
• Past missions in Caspian Sea is a plus.
• Vertical XT experience.

- Support the SPS Package Lead during FEED, and execution phases to ensure technical consistency, quality of delivered product.
- Coordinate engineering studies and ensure alignment with project requirements, standards, and HSE rules.
- Represent the SPS scope in technical committees and reviews.
- Interface with SURF, Onshore, and Drilling packages to ensure integrated design and execution.
ACTIVITIES
HSE:
- Demonstrate exemplary behavior with regards to HSE, ensure his team masters the required HSE competencies
- Implement HSE requirements within his area of responsibility and ensure that relevant Safety Engineering requirements are properly captured in all Project Documentation.
- Engineering:
- Maintain a sound knowledge of Subsea production system related Company Rules & Specifications and international standards; ensure that all applicable requirements are duly implemented and satisfied
- Ensure, that all engineering activities related to the design of Xtree, Wellhead, Tubing Hanger, PGB work performed by contractors, subcontractors or other parties comply with project's objectives/requirements, applicable codes, standard and Company rules. Ensure that all of Xtree, Wellhead, Tubing Hanger, PGB aspects are suitably addressed during the project phases by timely reviewing and validating the relevant documentation issued by contractors (and raise subsequent comments, highlighting deviation, unacceptable or unjustified design choices.
- Ensure that Xtree, Wellhead, Tubing Hanger, PGB designs will ensure safe, environmentally friendly and cost-effective operations. Participate and contribute to relevant engineering reviews (HAZID, HAZOP ...)
- Liaise with relevant HQ entities and request assistance when required
- Contribute actively to Quality Reviews, Projects Reviews and, whenever necessary present results to the team or to the partners
- Fabrication & Installation:
- Supervise qualification and testing programs.
- Participate in FATs, SIT and installation activities.
- Define and organize commissioning and handover to operations.
AUDIT
Plan, organize and monitor any internal or external audits related to SPS Engineering and ensure timely expedition engineering-related findings
INTERFACES
Coordinate with other SPS engineers and Absheron packages (SURF, Onshore, Drilling, etc.) and Company HQ team to ensure design consistency.
KPI & REPORTING
- Provide regular progress updates to management.
- Maintain KPI register for design parameters and technical decisions.
- Ensure confidentiality of documentation.
- Contract Management (Call For Tender, Change Order): Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
OBJECTIVES
- Deliver fit-for-purpose SPS equipment aligned with project objectives (SOR, technical referential, HSE, budget, schedule).
- Maximize value through cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Education: Engineer/ Master Drilling, Subsea, Mechanical Engineering degree or other relevant and recognized qualification, have a Subsea Hardware, Subsea Drilling or Engineering Management background, including detailed knowledge of subsea systems and a minimum of 15 years' experience of working in subsea projects and proven experience in major oil and gas project, preferably in Offshore large project.
- Proven Major Oil and Gas project developments knowledge and experience.
- Proven expertise in one or more of the following packages:
- Subsea Wells
- Subsea Systems
- Subsea Engineering
- Project Engineering
- Hardware package delivery (Systems, Tree's, Wellheads, TH, PGB).
- In-depth knowledge of subsea engineering and the relevant best practices, codes & standards.
- Extensive knowledge of Subsea Tree and Wellhead systems, from design to drilling, completion and cleanup.
- Expertise with driverless connection systems, both horizontal and vertical.
• Familiarity with Marine Operations using Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV).
• Past missions in Caspian Sea is a plus.
