Job Description Summary
The Defense and Systems (D&S) Product Cost Leader is responsible for the strategy, execution, and leadership of cost out activities across the assigned defense engine product line(s). The cost leader will leverage experience in sourcing, finance, or shop operations to identify cost out opportunities. The cost leader will work with a cross functional team to generate, evaluate, execute and sustain cost out activities. The cost leader will also work within the D&S productivity team to transform the processes and capabilities for cost out idea generation, execution, and sustainment.

This role is part of the Defense and Systems Productivity Organization, which is focused on driving cost optimization and continuous improvement across the T700 family of engines. The team collaborates with product line, engineering, sourcing, VCP lab, and production shops to deliver cost-out projects while mitigating future cost risks.
Role Overview
The T700 Cost Leader will be responsible for managing the pipeline of cost idea generation and execution for the T700 family of engines. This role will focus on identifying and implementing opportunities to reduce material and conversion costs, while ensuring cost risks are mitigated. The cost leader will collaborate across multiple functions, including product line, engineering, sourcing, VCP lab, and production shops, to evaluate, execute, and implement part cost-out projects.
Additionally, the cost leader will own the daily operating and reporting rhythms for the designated P&L, participate in PCB and deal reviews, and ensure cost impacts are effectively communicated. By applying lean principles and problem-solving techniques, the cost leader will drive corrective actions and continuous improvement within the Defense and Systems productivity organization.

The base pay range for this position is $126,700-194,100.00 USD Annual The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. Required Qualifications

- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing, finance, shop operations, or product management.
