JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood is recruiting for a Reservoir Operations Coordinator to join its Iraq business unit focusing on coordinating and organizing reservoir surveillance and well work activities with field teams and service providers for a Major Onshore Brownfield Project in Basra, Iraq on 5/2 work schedule.

This role is a full-time on-site role in Basra, Iraq with travel requirement.

Job Objectives:
  • Coordinating and organizing reservoir surveillance and well work activities with field teams and service providers.
  • Perform daily quality control and validation of production data before loading into official databases.
  • Maintain OFM databases and generate standard surveillance reports as requested.
  • Provide assistance to Reservoir Engineers during development of workover and capacity enhancement opportunities.
  • Share views on the interpretation of data and flag anomalies to the engineering team.
  • Develop progress reports against agreed Reservoir Engineering work plans.

Expected:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Reservoir Engineering or related field operations

Skills
  • Operational Coordination: Strong ability to coordinate and organize complex activities between office engineering teams, field personnel, and external service providers.
  • Well Intervention Knowledge: Solid understanding of well work operations (Workover, Wireline, Coiled Tubing) and reservoir surveillance techniques (SBHP, PLT).
  • Data Quality Control: Acute attention to detail with the ability to validate, QC, and sanitize large datasets before official use.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Proficient in creating clear progress reports and tracking work plans using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Systems
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Oil Field Manager (OFM) tool
