Chevron's Business Support Center (BASSC), located in Buenos Aires, is accepting applications for the position of Salesforce software engineer for the Sales & Service teams. Successful candidates will join the IT Organization, which is part of a multifunction service and technical center with a workforce of more than 1800 employees that deliver business services and solutions to the corporation across the globe. As a Salesforce Software Engineer, you will work closely with business partners to understand their requirements and develop solutions that enhance business workflows. You will also configure applications, test solutions to meet business needs, and leverage applicable technologies to automate and modernize processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop custom applications within a single instance of Salesforce using Platform capabilities, vendor package functionality, and Sales/Service Cloud principles.
- Collaborate directly with business partners to understand pain points and provide resolutions through training, defect identification and fixing, and/or future enhancements.
- Test changes made by other techs on behalf of the business.
- Oversee the deployment of solutions to production environments.
- Devise, execute, and analyze system tests to verify solutions' effectiveness.
- Develop high-quality code and configuration to support the functions of Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud.
- Collaborate with other developers, architects, and business SMEs in Agile scrum teams.
- Document and define how new/revised code operates to enable others to work with and support the code.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience developing with Apex, Visualforce, JavaScript, Lightning Web Components.
- Experience configuring Flows, Approval workflows, Process Builder.
- Deep understanding of the security model: Sharing, Roles, Profiles, Permission Sets, etc.
- Experience with Service Cloud, Sales Cloud
- Understanding of the service process (case management, knowledge management, omni-channel routing, service analytics, integration with call centers and live chat).
- Strong data modeling skills
- Hands-on experience developing and supporting solutions using Microsoft technologies
- Self-starter, curious about technology, able to multi-task, work independently, communicate well, and have a passion for solving complex business IT problems.
- Strong communication (written/verbal) and facilitation skills with the ability to convey business and technical information to a diverse audience and translate business requirements into technical design.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to engage difficulties with persistence.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Experience Cloud.
- Experience working on an Agile Team.
- Experience packaging and deploying Salesforce solutions using Copado.
- Salesforce Low Code.
- Skills in Power Apps, API, Azure DevOps, Change Management are a plus.
- Experience/knowledge with testing methodologies and tools.
- Ability to constructively manage issues, conflicts, and problems in a prompt, direct, and objective manner.
- Organized and skilled at planning. Ability to work from a high-level to a low level of detail and handle multiple assignments with varying priorities and deadlines.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, especially in leading small projects with a cross-functional team.
- Familiarity with information risk management requirements and processes.
- Familiarity with integration technologies and patterns (API, Messaging, Data Integration) is considered a plus.
