Job Description:

This role will be part of the Digital Delivery Portfolio, Analytics and Insights team, a sub-entity of Technology, responsible for developing financial and operational portfolio insights to be used to drive delivery and inform decision making.

This role will support industry benchmarking, investment portfolio governance as well as pan-Digital performance governance. It involves working closely with broader PAI team, Finance and Procurement, to understand and deliver the pan-Digital priorities, taking context and strategy into consideration.

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as the single point of accountability to provide data on operational, financial and third-party supplier information in preparation for analysis.


  • Standardise Data Protocols for Full Spend Benchmarking submissions, including documentation of overrides, audit trails, and metadata tagging to support traceability and compliance.


  • Ensure data integrity and alignment with the working group and benchmarking guidelines and definitions.


  • Support the completion of the benchmark submission templates.


  • Drive cross-team consensus and understanding of requirements, ensuring relevant reviews.


  • Own the development and upkeep of custom dashboards segmented by business capability, spend combinations, and Key Performance Indicator metrics.


  • Identify opportunities for automation and improved data quality across analytics workflows


  • Generate and maintain data points that underpin portfolio health and performance insights across technology domains and strategic initiatives.


  • Enable data-driven decision-making through robust tracking, analysis, and reporting of delivery, risk, value, and special project metrics.


  • Build positive relationships with stakeholder, cross technology teams and benchmarking partners.


  • Work closely with teams in London, Budapest and Houston.

Primary Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Power Query, and semantic modelling.


  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.


  • Familiarity with portfolio management and technology business frameworks, databases and tools like e.g. ServiceNow - Strategic Portfolio Management, Information Technology Service Management and Configuration Management Database.


  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.


  • Experience with AI-enhanced reporting tools and automation platforms.


  • Excellent organizational skills required to adapt to a constantly evolving environment.


  • Highly responsible, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast paced, high growth environment which exhibits ownership of the outcomes of work.


  • Ability to build, cultivate, and manage relationships with stakeholders across all levels.

Experience:

  • University degree in accounting, finance or business subject area.


  • Proven relevant experience with IT finance and IT operational data and insights preferable.


  • Relevant experience in oil and gas, energy or technology companies is preferred.


  • Knowledge of PowerBi and Strategic Portfolio Management in ServiceNow and Information Technology Configuration Management Database would be an advantage
