Were currently seeking a Financial Reporting and Accounting Manager to join our team in our Houston, TX office, reporting to the Head of Accounting.
JOB SUMMARY
The Financial Reporting and Accounting Manager oversees all aspects of the General Ledger, consolidation, and statutory reporting for T.EN, its subsidiaries, and joint ventures. Reporting to the Head of Accounting and Consolidations for the Americas, this role collaborates closely with Financial Controllers and liaises with the Corporate Office in Paris, with potential light travel.

Were currently seeking a Financial Reporting and Accounting Manager to join our team in our Houston, TX office, reporting to the Head of Accounting.
JOB SUMMARY
The Financial Reporting and Accounting Manager oversees all aspects of the General Ledger, consolidation, and statutory reporting for T.EN, its subsidiaries, and joint ventures. Reporting to the Head of Accounting and Consolidations for the Americas, this role collaborates closely with Financial Controllers and liaises with the Corporate Office in Paris, with potential light travel.
JOB ROLES
- Supervise and manage aspects of the General Ledger process for T.EN Americas.
- Oversee the measurement of financial results, consolidation, and statutory/legal entity reporting for T.EN and its subsidiaries.
- Ensure the timely monthly and quarterly closing of the general ledger.
- Prepare quarterly and annual legal entity reports, including footnotes, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Prepare periodic governmental filings as required.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and address compliance requirements.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of two local and four remote staff.
- Support business line controllers and their teams with financial reporting and process improvements.
- Continuously improve period-end closing procedures, including automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Identify and recommend process improvements, cost-saving initiatives, and automation opportunities.
- Develop, coach, and evaluate direct reports through performance reviews, training programs, and career development planning.
- Interact effectively with staff at all levels across departments, demonstrating excellent communication, attention to detail, and a collaborative work style.
- Undertake special projects and additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- 8+ years of experience in accounting
- Previous supervisory experience
- Demonstrated strong background in both accounting and finance including experience with month end close, bank reconciliations, budgeting/forecasts, journal entries, financial analysis, internal reporting, internal controls, fixed assets.
- Experience with evaluating and improving business processes.
- Demonstrates a high level of initiative, commitment and is a self-starter.
- Possesses the ability to stay organized and effectively communicate, both orally and in written form, with multiple business process owners.
Preferred:
- CPA or MBA
- Experience in the energy services sector
- HFM and Oracle
- Public accounting or audit experience
