Key Responsibilities
- FLIGHT DECK Leadership:
Serve as a subject matter expert and champion for the FLIGHT DECK operating model, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities. - Lean Transformations:
Lead lean transformations across sites or business units, focusing on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC). - Strategic Planning:
Develop and execute Hoshin Kanri (strategic planning) initiatives to drive long-term improvements and achieve key business objectives. - Kaizen Facilitation:
Facilitate Kaizen events and workshops to identify and eliminate waste, improve processes, and enhance value delivery. - Mentorship and Coaching:
Mentor and coach leaders and teams on FLIGHT DECK principles, tools, and methodologies, building organizational capability. - Performance Analysis:
Analyze and interpret key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for improvement and track progress. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate lean practices into daily operations and decision-making processes. - Sustainability of Improvements:
Ensure sustainability of improvements through robust standard work and continuous monitoring. - Senior Leadership Advisory:
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations to enhance operational performance.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Solid and extensive experience in lean manufacturing, operational excellence, or continuous improvement roles, with a proven track record of delivering results.
- Experience leading lean transformations and managing complex projects.
- Solid experience managing people
- Certification in lean methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Black Belt) is a plus.
- Deep understanding of lean principles, tools, and methodologies, including Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Kata, and Hoshin Kanri.
- Fluent in Portuguese and English
Desired Skills
- Aerospace or manufacturing industry experience.
- Familiarity with GE Aerospace's proprietary FLIGHT DECK operating model.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
