JOB DESCRIPTION

Location: Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico

Work model: Hybrid

NOV is building a talent pipeline for future opportunities within our Finance Shared Services team in Monterrey. We are looking to connect with professionals who have experience in accounting, billing, intercompany, accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, reporting, and other finance operations in a shared services or multinational environment.

This pipeline is designed for candidates interested in current or future finance opportunities supporting North America operations. Profiles may be considered for positions ranging from junior to experienced individual contributor roles, depending on business needs and approved openings.

Important Information Before Applying

  • Candidates must currently reside in Monterrey or the metropolitan area
  • NOV does not provide relocation assistance for these opportunities
  • Hybrid work schedule
    • On-site: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
    • Remote: Tuesday and Thursday
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
  • This schedule is non-negotiable
  • Current students will not be considered
  • Conversational English is required due to regular interaction with global teams

  • Billing and invoicing

  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Journal entries and month-end close
  • Financial reporting
  • Fixed assets
  • Audit support
  • Internal controls and SOX compliance
  • ERP-based finance operations
  • Shared services finance processes


Typical Responsibilities May Include

Depending on the position and level, responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting month-end and quarter-end close activities
  • Preparing and posting journal entries with proper supporting documentation
  • Performing reconciliations and resolving reconciling items
  • Supporting intercompany accounting and related reconciliations
  • Processing invoices, credits, billing transactions, and customer account activity
  • Investigating billing, payment, or accounting discrepancies
  • Supporting financial reporting and audit requests
  • Working with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate finance operations
  • Assisting with process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives
  • Supporting compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and accounting standards


What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
  • Experience in finance, accounting, billing, AR, AP, intercompany, or shared services operations
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or similar
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
  • Conversational English required


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a multinational company or shared services environment
  • Knowledge of US GAAP, SOX, or internal controls
  • Experience with customer portals, reporting tools, or finance process improvement initiatives
