SAFETY ANALYST
Overview
Execute corporate level HSE Incident Investigation & Learning activities including all
related requirements, systems, processes, performance measures and improvement
strategies.
Ensures that QatarEnergy HSE Incident Investigation & Learning is in line with QatarEnergy's
HSE Policies, Senior Management expectations and QE strategic business objectives.

related requirements, systems, processes, performance measures and improvement
strategies.
Ensures that QatarEnergy HSE Incident Investigation & Learning is in line with QatarEnergy's
HSE Policies, Senior Management expectations and QE strategic business objectives.
Experience
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management, with specific experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
- Proven minimum 5 years of experience in leading/facilitating Process and/or Personal Safety related serious HSE incident investigations (Tier 1 & 2, HiPo, LTI, etc), in a corporate or multi-site environment.
- In-depth knowledge of various incident investigation methodologies (RCA, TapRoot, Tripod-Beta, 5-Why, etc) and root cause analysis techniques.
Technical Expertise:
- BEng/BSc in Engineering, Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or related discipline is required. Post-graduate qualification would be an added advantage.
- Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent) is required. Any other additional professional international certification in HSE would be an added advantage.
- HSE lead Auditor certification as per ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 is required.
- RCA, TapRoot, Tripod-Beta or other relevant HSE Incident Investigation training and certification is required.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations, standards, and best practices. In-depth knowledge of HSE management system per internationally recognized organizations, standards, regulations and guidelines (IOGP, ISO, ILO, OSHA, etc).

- Ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions to determine root causes of incidents.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather information and drive investigation efforts.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions to prevent recurrence of incidents and improve overall safety performance.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and integrity in all aspects of incident investigation and HSE management.
Qualifications
- BEng/BSc in Engineering, Science, or related discipline is required.
