Short description

We are looking for an experienced Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) Rig Hand to support a major pipeline project in Southern Germany. The candidate will assist in operating HK rigs (100-ton and 250-ton) for long-distance crossings, ensuring safe and efficient site operations.

Function description

• Assist the Driller in operating HK HDD Rigs (100 ton and 250 ton) for pipeline crossings
• Prepare and maintain drilling equipment, tools and worksite
• Work on the pipe side or rig side
• Handle drill pipes, reamers and other downhole tools during drilling and pullback operations
• Perform rig up and rig down activities safely
• Support borehole monitoring and fluid management

Requirements

• Previous experience as an HDD Rig Hand or similar role on pipeline projects
• Familiarity with Maxi Rigs (100 ton and/or 250 tons) preferable but not mandatory
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and willingness to work in challenging conditions
• EU work permit and readiness to work in Southern Germany
• Good English communication skills; German is a plus
