Short description

We are looking for an experienced HDD Mechanic to join a major pipeline project in Southern Germany. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing HK HDD rigs (100-ton and 250-ton) and associated equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Function description

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HDD rigs (100-ton and 250-ton) and related equipment.
• Inspect mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and keep accurate service records.
• Diagnose faults and replace defective parts promptly to minimize downtime.
• Assist with rig setup and ensure all equipment is in safe working condition.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HDD Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Mechanic on pipeline or HDD projects.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and HDD rig components.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• EU work permit and willingness to work in Southern Germany.
• Good English communication skills; German is a plus.
