MAJOR FUNCTIONS

• The Khor Mor Engineering Manager (EM) will lead the Engineering team to ensure safe and efficient operation of the Khor Mor gas processing facilities, NGL and LPG recovery plants.
• He will maintain a minimum of technical authority support across the engineering disciplines and be responsible for the management and development of that team in line with asset expansion.
• The EM will work closely with the Khor Mor (KM) Plant Manager to assist and support the Khor Mor Operations Team.
• The EM will be responsible for the delivery of the KM Technical Authority (TA) Framework, the Engineering Management Standards and act as the highest level of TA in Crescent Danagas Kurdistan Operations.
• The EM will be responsible for delivering small and major projects against the Engineering Standards. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

Accountabilities:

The Engineering Manager is responsible for managing a team of engineers and asset integrity professionals to:

• Maintain a safe approach to Engineering Change and Design Management to ensure compliance with all relevant statutory requirements, Company and Industry codes and standards, and HAZOP actions.
• Own and develop the TA framework.
• Own and develop of engineer standards and framework.
• Assure all projects through stage gate reviews.
• Own and manage the Master Services Agreement MSA.
• Manage all Khor Mor Process Engineering issues relating to plant performance and efficiency, trouble shooting and unit optimisation through process monitoring and by working closely with the Operations Superintendent to manage overall plant optimisation of gas and liquids production.
• Deliver capital projects and manage engineering change to all areas of the Khor Mor operations to ensure continued safe production delivery.
• Provide strategic leadership and planning capability to engineering and site operations, and to actively collaborate with the Khor Mor Operations Management team to provide hardware and system improvements to drive engineering value across the Khor Mor production delivery process.

Reporting and Communication

• Reports to the KRI Operations Manager.
• Exhibits and maintains excellent working relationships with all CreDan staff.   

• Degree in Engineering from a recognized University.
• Registered Professional Engineer or equivalent. 
• 20+ years’ experience in Operations, commissioning, hazard & risk assessment and plant design knowledge and experience highly desirable
