This Position reports to:
Local Division Manager

We are looking for an experienced Business Consultant focused on energy efficiency in industrial environments.
This position is not about portfolio management or project coordination - it's about actively supporting sales teams, identifying new opportunities across the market, and delivering real business in the field of energy savings. If you understand the industrial sector and know how to sell technical solutions, then we're looking for you. You'll have the freedom to manage your own activities in energy efficiency in a way that makes sense - your impact will be visible across the market and within ABB Drives.

What you will do:

• Business Development and Acquisition:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive business and growth plan for energy efficiency in the Czech Republic. Lead strategic discussions with customers to identify energy-saving opportunities and create tailored optimization plans. Actively seek new opportunities, prepare proposals, negotiate with customers, and integrate savings into service agreements

• Energy Savings Analysis and Design:
• Perform calculations, analyze audit data, evaluate results, and propose recommendations for energy savings

• Sales Support and Tools Management:
• Utilize calculation and quotation software, prepare supporting materials for the sales team

• Customer Care and Communication:
• Work closely with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders to identify needs and build long-term relationships

• Strategy and Innovation:
• Contribute to the business strategy of the unit, bring innovative solutions to processes. Build strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in line with ABB Motion Services' energy efficiency goals

• Marketing and Market Research:
• Monitor the market and competition, conduct user research, prepare presentations and marketing materials. Represent ABB at Czech industry events and promote ABB's energy efficiency offerings. Identify specific energy efficiency trends in the Czech Republic, regulatory factors, and new market opportunities

• Internal Support and Training:
• Prepare training sessions, documentation, and support internal teams. Collaborate on go-to-market strategies.

Who we are looking for:

• Knowledge of the economic environment in the Czech Republic (knowledge of the Energy sector or another specific market segment in the Czech Republic)
• Advanced English (C1/B2 - written and spoken communication)
• Frequent travel within the Czech Republic
• Strong argumentation and communication skills, ability to sell proposed solutions
• Customer orientation and proactive approach to work
