This Position reports to:
Tax Team Leader

In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide tax expertise within your assigned area-covering capital structures, legal structures, cross-border reorganizations, transfer pricing, intra-group arrangements, tax accounting and reporting, or other relevant tax matters-while supporting the development of tax strategies aligned with overall business and global initiatives.

Each day, you will act as an internal tax advisor in the defined tax area and coordinate the resolution of tax issues. You will also demonstrate your expertise by ensuring compliance with local and international tax laws and regulations.

Working within the Finance team in the Business Services organization, in our largest center located in Kraków, you will contribute to the preparation of accounting analyses and financial reports by completing accounting activities and recording financial transactions.

This role is reporting to the Tax Team Leader in Kraków.

Main stakeholders are the Finance and Accounting teams, global and regional Tax teams, Business Services organization leadership, external auditors and tax authorities, as well as project managers and operational departments involved in tax-related processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring VAT, income tax (CIT) and withholding tax (WHT) transactional compliance and reporting
• Preparing tax returns filling in various jurisdictions in a timely manner
• Researching and correcting process errors that caused incorrect tax filings
• Supporting tax audits and ad-hoc matters
• Supporting automation and improvements of accounting / booking processes from the perspective of tax requirements
• Assisting in developing and implementing processes and procedures
• Supporting the management with financial aspects of project funding and risk assessment

Qualifications:

• You enjoy working with Microsoft Office, Excel (functions, pivot tables), ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and the European tax market
• You have minimum 3 years of experience in the Transactional Tax area, preparing international tax declarations
• Highly adept in ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle
• You are innovative around process orientation and attention to detail
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Possess knowledge of European tax law (direct and/or indirect tax)
• Very good organization and coordination skills
• Ability to work in team with deadlines and stress situations
• You are at ease communicating in English
