Within the TECHNIP Energies universe, the Lyon center is recognized as the group's center of expertise in the field of polyolefins. Specializing in petrochemicals, chemistry, green chemistry, and life sciences, it also supports the development of innovative technologies in fields such as biotechnology, synthetic products, and bio-based hydrocarbons. As you can see, this center, with more than 500 employees, handles a wide variety of engineering projects of varying sizes (some worth more than €400 million) and focuses on very early-stage design projects that are technically very rich for our engineers.

About the mission we offer you:

Join TECHNIP Energies and help reduce the environmental impact of our industrial projects from the design phase through to construction. As part of our ESG strategy, we integrate sustainability assessment and monitoring methods into all phases of our services. This internship will allow you to actively participate in this process by testing and evaluating the OneClick LCA tool. You will contribute to the evaluation and deployment of LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) practices, as well as to the implementation of a strategy and program for integrating the OneClick LCA solution into our tools and execution processes.

Internship objectives :

• Test the OneClick ACV tool on reference projects.
• Assess its potential for integration into our processes and tools (BIM, project databases).
• Make recommendations for its operational deployment.

Main tasks:

• Map regulatory, normative, and certification requirements related to sustainability indicators.
• Analyze impact methods based on ACV.
• Identify internal (Technip Energies) and external (customers, administrative authorities, certification bodies) expectations in terms of environmental indicators (GHG, energy, water, waste).
• Identify the necessary input data and its availability.
• Model data flows and their use in tools.
• Develop test cases based on existing projects to evaluate the capabilities of OneClick ACV.
• Study possible synergies with BIM tools (Revit, Autodesk) and internal databases.
• Assess the maturity of Technip Energies' processes and identify levers for integration.
• Produce analysis notes and a summary report.
• Propose macro indicators based on the cases tested.

About you:

• Engineering student in final year (BAC+5), or third year depending on level
• of autonomy.
• Generalist or specialized training in environment, civil engineering, energy, or
• digital technology.
• Proficiency in OneClick ACV tool,
• Knowledge of Revit and Autodesk tools.
• Professional English, proficiency in Excel,
• Regular use of AI tools
• Curiosity, autonomy, analytical mind, ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams .
