- Manage labor relations by applying the necessary corrective measures to individuals, informing them of the violation and consequences of breaching the RIT and Emerson code of ethics and conduct.
- Hire staff and update contracts (control the hiring period).
- Responsible for introducing new staff to benefits.
- Recording, reviewing, and closing incidents in payroll management systems.
- Preparing payroll and performing the respective validations, delivering the necessary documentation for bank distribution.
- Sending and managing registrations, cancellations, and salary changes in IMSS (IDSE) and Infonavit.
- Administration, analysis, and accounting reconciliation for Fonacot.
- Analysis, submission, and application of salary changes in the system.
- Preparation of the budget for salaries, benefits, and compensation for the fiscal year.
- Administration of compensation and benefits.
- Conducting market analysis of staff salary levels, wages, and benefits.
- Management of the staff salary scale.
- Integrating information for the Actuarial Analysis of labor reserves (Labor Liability).
- Integrating, updating, and analyzing the results of annual market salary and wage surveys to determine the position vs. the market, integrating competitive proposal letters for new hires or promotions to determine the job-person analysis that allows for equity with respect to merit increases.
- Calculate and administer benefits for unionized and trusted personnel, such as grocery vouchers, gasoline vouchers, bonuses, savings funds, premiums, social security, etc.
- Terminate employment relationships, calculate severance pay, and conduct exit interviews.
- Manage active files and retain terminated files for auditing and safekeeping purposes.
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly administrative reports specific to the area, both internal and corporate.
- Make payments to Human Resources providers such as unions, annual check-ups for executives, paperwork for labor legal matters, employee benefits providers, etc.
- Provide services to staff, including delivery and explanation of questions about benefits or payroll receipts, employment letters, and visas, for commercial purposes.
- Comply with all applicable EHS corporate standards, quality, and internal procedures.
- Manage the health insurance policy (GMM) and life insurance policy.
- Perform and monitor administrative procedures.
- Manage and ensure the capture of KPIs in the STPS government systems.
- Generate and submit reports for various areas on indicators such as HC, turnover, bridge, overtime, working hours, tax payment analysis, benefits, and perks, among others, on time.
- Analysis, closing, reports, channeling of technological solutions for problems on platforms related to ADP/E-time, Oracle/HCM, and SAP administration, as well as extracting information to integrate special reports.
For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Five years of experience in human resources or a similar position in payroll, labor relations, compensation and benefits, and total rewards.
- Knowledge of the Mexican union structure, dealing with unionized employees, and all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of organizational charts, KPIs, HC, turnover, etc.
- Compensation, pay scales, and salary surveys: knowledge of the Mercer model (HAY, KF, TW).
- Strong knowledge of Excel.
- Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Advanced English (B1, B2).
- Payroll system management: knowledge of Oracle, SAP, HCM, and ADP.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- 5 years of experience in Human Resources or a similar position in payroll, labor relations, compensation and benefits, and total rewards.
- Knowledge of the Mexican union structure, dealing with unionized employees, and all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of organizational charts, KPIs, HC, turnover, etc.
- Compensation, pay scales, and salary surveys: knowledge of the Mercer model (HAY, KF, TW).
- 3 years of experience managing pre-payroll (incidents, calculations, salary changes), handling basic aspects of federal law, IMSS, INFONAVIT, Fonacot, benefits regulations, tax calculations, among others.
