  • Timely delivery of assigned engineering and design activities including contingencies, in conformance with BP's Engineering Practices, guidance documents, and BP's Operating Management System. Applying for acceptable deviations when it makes sense.
  • Ensure conformance to Equipment Integrity Assurance Guidelines, Procurement and Supply Chain Management processes for the timely delivery of Equipment, including long lead items.
  • Relentlessly seek and utilize industry best practice in engineering to ensure continuous improvement in well design, execution and cost efficiencies.
  • Challenges the status quo thinking of existing designs and operating assets.
  • Apply wells standards, procedures and practices as well as appropriate engineering workflows and tools to daily tasks and projects.
  • Considers well control requirements at all stages of well execution and ensures appropriate documentation of well barriers are considered in development concepts.
  • Reviews completions benchmark performance against agreed KPIs; identifies, implements and shares lessons learned & best practices.
