Mission:
• Manage/supervise fabrication engineering activities at project level, supporting production department, in defining best solutions, to solve clashes, or other design inconsistencies, and interfacing with home offices/FEM and Client
• Define/prepare the Subcontractors scope of work (shop drawing, spool, , etc.)
• Supervise/coordinate development and issue of the shop drawings, fabrication procedures, fabrication and construction sequences and method statement
Tasks:
• Contribute to prepare and maintain updated the Fabrication Engineering Execution Plan
• Collaborates with Yard Production to plan the material collection from warehouse
• Check the conformity and congruence of technical document ation release emitted by Head Office making it available to yard technical office to produce the shop drawings
• Supervise/Coordinate the preparation and the issue of Fabrication Engineering documents
• Coordinate Fabrication Prod uction Eng. team to prepare erection/construction sequence/method statement
• Coordinates the Engineering activities related to yard scope of supply
• Coordinates Fabrication Production Eng. team activities in relation with changes to fabrication technical documents, non-conformities and preparation of operational test packages
• Keeps record (marked-up copy) and provide to FEM the changes and additions (field design change)
• Provide to Eng. forecast Fabrication analysis inputs, as per project/yard strategy, in terms of Fabrication objects/activities (for which material work-front has to be analysed) split by breakdown structures or attributes available also to Engineering and ensure that these information are available to allow material take off and feasibility by HO Eng.
• Maintain contact with material suppliers and liaises with the PM-F and COM, to ensure that goods are present during the Fabrication, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning phases
• Define and prepare the subcontractor scope of work for Fabrication Engineering (shop drawing, spool, , etc.) development and issue and manage possible construction/fabrication site queries not affecting eng AFC
• Activate through FEM back charge notifications to suppliers identified during Fabrication activities
• Manage vendor call- out and ensures interface with vendor's representatives together with the relevant Field Specialist Engineer or Discipline Superintendent
• Ensure the interfaces at project level with other function involved (HSE, Quality Control, Constuction Supervision and Commissioning and start up) and assist it as needed
• Ensure the interfaces with the Client Engineering department, as per his area of competence
• Support the plant hand-over related to technical document from Construction to commissioning/Client and in any case to Client according to the contract requirements
• Control and verify the Punch List compliance with the scope of work, assigning the responsibility to the involved function that will perform the solving actions
• Ensure, in coordination with FEM, the collection and consolidation of Punch Lists related to Vendor supplies
• Ensure the Fabrication Engineering document management activities by coordinating the site DCC in coordination with PCON
• Give the contribution to the preparation and issue of Project Record Books as per his area of competence
• Ensure the Lesson Learned and publishing for the fabrication activities
• Establish with Saipem yard technical team proper distribution lists of project documentation to all the involved Fabrication/Construction functions
