The Daily Mail is looking for a Junior Commissioning Editor for Inspire Magazine, a weekly lifestyle supplement.

Main Responsibilities

• NCTJ qualification or equivalent
• Newsroom experience
• Ability to generate creative, news-driven ideas for the paper and online
• A strong interest in lifestyle content
• To commission and edit high-quality content, adhering to editorial standards, deadlines and style guidelines
• Keen eye for page design and picture presentation
• Ability to write strong digital and paper headlines

Person Specification

Applicants will boast excellent digital experience, strong editing and writing skills and the ability to create fantastic lifestyle content. The role is ideal for an early career journalist with some newsroom experience and great organisational and interpersonal skills.
