In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Be the IT Owner of our Quote and Order management Application:
  • Provide User support for questions and issues
  • Fully understand and support our Quote and Sales Order processes
  • Fully understand underlying data and related interfaces
• Handle support tickets, monitor our systems and resolve system issues
• Monitor and maintain scheduled programs and resolve Interface failures
• Document system relations and changes to interface logic, participate in test events
• Participate in and learn to lead Projects related to internal business processes
• Some travel and work outside of business hours may be required

Who You Are:

The successful candidate is a motivated individual preferably with experience in Customer Quoting and Sales related business processes. You like to understand complex systems and their relations, preferably have some hands-on experience in Quote to Order ERP systems and want to extend your knowledge. You have the will and drive to chase and resolve unclear problems, execute small projects and are motivated to learn new skills and build your SQL knowledge. Understanding business data and data relations is key to Your success in this role.

As a member of the European IT Team, you will support and develop the Emerson IT environment, participate in projects, ensure that issues are resolved with long-term reliable solutions and that complex enhancements are built to fit our existing environment.

You quickly build a good understanding of our environment and IT Processes. You are a team-player and communicate effectively in English.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Degree in technical field
• A keen interest in IT and software tools
• Good command of both verbal and written English
• Some large ERP system Quote and Order module user experience
• Some data relations knowledge (Excel VLOOKUP or MS Access or SQL scripting)

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Any previous Emerson Sales Business process understanding
• Oracle ERP System (11i / R12) knowledge in Sales
• Excel or Access or Power BI skills (Data source, Pivot, Excel complex functions)
• SQL knowledge, understanding of databases, tables and relations
