The Test & Measurement Test Engineering team designs, assembles and validates test solutions to be used in T&M Manufacturing facilities to test T&M products at various stages of their assembly process. We are seeking an R&D Test Engineer will design of these automated test systems in collaboration with our HW Product Engineers and Manufacturing Test Engineers.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Designing or revising custom printed circuit boards to be used in a test fixture
• Developing production test code for the next generation of NI products
• Qualifying instruments for use in a Test application to be deployed to Manufacturing
• Analyzing production test data to look for trends which indicate the health of the product and/or test solution

For This Role, You Will Need:

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
• Two years of related experience in Electronics or Test Design
• Legal Authorization to work in the United States - sponsorship will not be provided for this role

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

Strong candidates will have an understanding of the following concepts and principles:

• High-level programming languages (e.g. LabVIEW, TestStand, Python)
• Analog signal considerations
• Sources of measurement error
• Appropriate selection of instrumentation
• Statistical analysis of data
• Integration of hardware and software
• Hands-on experience with electronic hardware
• Experience with high frequency circuit design, RF and wireless communication is highly desirable
