This Position reports to:
Local Division Manager, Electrification Service
In this role, you will have the opportunity to create, coordinate (with other units in Electrification Service Division) and complete bids, estimations, and quotations based on customer specifications, requirements, or budget for the Electrification Services EMEA Data Center (Center of Excellence).
The Data Center CoE is a specialized team which sits inside local Electrification Service Division in Ireland the IE Electrification Services Team that focuses on driving and supporting best practices, innovation, and continuous improvement within the Data Center segment. It acts as a hub for knowledge, support, and strategic guidance. You will demonstrate your expertise by collecting and collating the market and customer information required to prepare proposals, including both technical and cost elements.

Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you'll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.
- Work model: #hybrid
• Formulates competitive bids/estimates/quotations, taking into account best available product/ - mix and appropriate technologies technical and commercial considerations for each individual situation thus improving and safeguarding favorable win rates.
• Ensures tenders are well documented in a timely manner and with appropriate level of detail, including full and accurate costs.
• Manages the preparation of all technical aspects of the bid/estimate/quotation, indicating prices and agreement conditions.
• Collects and archives documentation regarding the offer/order and records assumptions and decisions taken during the development process.
• Regularly reports the status of the bids/estimates/quotations using defined tools and collects and analyses the reasons for tenders being lost and won.
• Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships to understand customer needs.
• Provides any necessary technical and commercial support to the Data Center CoE stakeholders.
• Provides information to the risk review process in accordance with ABB policy and participates in the risk review assessment as needed.
• Ensures that Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and integrity requirements are integrated in the offers and are up-todate in their respective business process(es) and applications.
Qualifications for the Role
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in Service / Engineering or Manufacturing Environments, working in a Technical or similar role with Medium & Low Voltage products and technologies.
• Relevant technical qualification, or relevant extended experience.
• Proven track record in tendering and supporting Data Center customers.
• Strong understanding of Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) principles and best practices.
• Practical knowledge of relevant Commercial Regulations & Legal Compliance.
• Solid grasp of core sales practices and customer engagement.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
• A collaborative, solution-oriented mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ownership and accountability for assigned tasks.
• Strong customer-centric approach and relationship-building capability.
• Effective planning and time-management skills.
