JOB PURPOSE
The core accountability of the role is to provide financial support to the whole Business segment for core Finance processes (GFO, GFR, Plan, Embedded Control) as well as deliver business partnering support for certain key areas.
The role requires strong engagement skills as well as experience in handling demand and the ability to successfully lead conflicting priorities whilst handling expectations of collaborators effectively.

JOB PURPOSE
The core accountability of the role is to provide financial support to the whole Business segment for core Finance processes (GFO, GFR, Plan, Embedded Control) as well as deliver business partnering support for certain key areas.

In this role You will:
- Business Partnering & Performance Insights
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Embedded Finance, Business Stakeholders, Budget Holders, and FBT PPR teams.
- Act as the key contact for the Business Segment, ensuring effective collaboration across FBT operational teams.
- Deliver timely and robust forecasts, management information (MI), and performance commentary to leadership.
- Analyse actuals, identify trends, and provide high-level insights and recommendations.
- Support commercial decision-making through data-driven analysis and challenge.
- Contribute to cost allocation and reporting processes.
- Assess the financial impact of strategic and tactical changes.
- Risk, Control, Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in financial reporting and close processes.
- Maintain a strong internal control environment in line with BP policies (e.g., DofA, SoD, CET testing).
- Apply Group accounting policies (GRM, GCM) and stay updated on regulatory requirements.
- Support continuous improvement of control frameworks and ethical standards.
- Identify and raise control gaps or non-compliance issues, and investigate root causes.
- Planning & Performance Reporting
- Partner with Embedded Finance and Business Segment Leads to shape and deliver in-year and multi-year plans.
- Understand macroeconomic assumptions and their implications for planning.
- Lead the GFO/GFR process, ensuring alignment with business strategy and external context.
- Provide accurate and insightful financial and management reporting.
- Support the Allocations & Recovery process and contribute to business case development and CAPEX reviews.
- Participate in performance discussions with executive leadership.
- Leadership & Collaboration
- Promote new ways of working and encouraging a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Support capability development within FBT and contribute to the broader performance agenda.
What You will need to be successful:
Essential
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field (Master's preferred).
- Recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant post-degree experience.
- Fluency in English (C1 level in reading, writing, and speaking).
Preferred
- Experience working in matrix organisations and centralised functions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts.
