Job Purpose

• Assembly and disassembly of metal structures and pipelines.
• Manufacturing of metal structures and pipeline components.

Job Responsibilities

• Assembly of metal structures and pipelines of various diameters from separate elements manually and with the help of chain hoists, manually and electrically driven cable blocks, jacks, stationary and mobile cranes, crane ships.
• Assembling separate units of metal structures and pipelines for welding according to drawings, assembly diagrams and flow charts with the use of universal and special devices and templates.
• Adjustment of metalwork assemblies requiring increased accuracy of assembly work.
• Marking of places for installation of complex basic parts and units of metal structures.
• Installation of various devices related to the pipeline transport system.
• Assembly and disassembly of metal structures, pipeline units, pipeline system equipment, gate valves and valves of all classes and sizes using chain hoists, manually and electrically powered cable blocks, jacks, stationary and mobile cranes, crane ships.
• Installation and removal of blocks, hoists, chain blocks, chain hoists, winches and jacks during installation and dismantling works.
• Performing lifting operations during assembly and disassembly works according to procedures and work sequence.
• Performing assembly and disassembly work on scaffolding and scaffolding platforms, in the offshore area of the platform, as well as using a special suspended cradle for construction work.
• Screwing and unscrewing bolted connections of metal structures and pipelines manually and using hydraulic, pneumatic and electric wrenches.
• Cutting, grinding and machining of parts, joints of assembled structures and pipelines using angle grinders.
• Oxygen and air-plasma straight and shaped cutting of metals, simple and medium complexity parts according to markings manually and on portable and stationary oxygen and plasma-arc machines for cutting in all spatial positions.
• Installing sealing gaskets to seal flange joints.

Education

Qualification Requirements:

• Experience of at least 5 years in the installation and assembly of pipelines and structures.
• Availability of a diploma/certificate of a fabricator.
