The Financial Analyst will be responsible for different European financial reporting and analysis. The financial analyst will be based in Cluj-Napoca and will report to the European Controller.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Involved in the monthly preparation and follow-up of the financial reporting of the European Ridge entities in accordance with US GAAP and Emerson's principles.
• Responsible for various monthly or quarterly reporting (internal and external) related to the financial or operational performance or statutory compliance.
• Responsible for the preparation and follow-up of the SG&A budget of the European distribution center
• Responsible for standard costing and transfer pricing setup of and between the European entities in compliance with Transfer Pricing policies or regulations
• Analysis and calculation of the year-end customers bonuses & MDF accruals
• Support ad hoc financial analysis & data requests from Emerson or internal management team
• Be the Finance voice within participation at cross departmental projects or Finance projects to improve processes or reporting flow.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor or Master degree in economics or equivalent work experience
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a financial role in an international environment
• Strong analytical skills
• Good knowledge of excel

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Knowledge of JD Edwards is an advantage
• Team player
• Proactive attitude
• Fluent in English. Knowledge of other languages is an asset.
