Wood is recruiting for SAP PM Master Data Technicians to join our team in Docklands, Victoria, on a permanent basis.

The SAP PM Master Data Technician is responsible for maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of SAP Plant Maintenance master data. This includes managing Facilities and Wells Integrity Management System change requests related to functional locations, equipment, Bills of Material (BOMs), task lists, and maintenance plans. The role ensures that all updates adhere to governance standards, enabling reliable maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The key objectives for this role are:
  • Maintain and update SAP PM master data for functional locations, equipment, BOMs, task lists, and maintenance plans
  • Process and manage change requests in accordance with governance standards and approval workflows
  • Ensure compliance with data integrity principles and corporate standards for master data management
  • Collaborate with maintenance planners, reliability engineers, and procurement teams to ensure accurate and timely data updates
  • Support Facilities and Wells Integrity Management System by implementing approved changes to master data
  • Conduct audits and validations of master data to identify gaps and implement corrective actions

Requirements:
  • 5 plus years' experience in SAP PM master data management (functional locations, equipment, BOMs, task lists, maintenance plans)
  • Preferable qualifications in Business / IT or 5 to 10 years of Technical Trade with SAP experience
  • Strong understanding of change request workflows and governance standards
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data integrity principles
  • Exposure to ECC6 and S/4HANA migration or master data projects
  • Familiarity with reliability engineering concepts and maintenance strategies
  • Advanced competency with Microsoft applications (Excel, Power Query, Power BI)
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging multi-disciplinary teams
