The Cost Performance Lead plays a key role in ensuring our European supply network maintains cost competitiveness and resilience. This position owns Net Material Inflation (NMI), savings realization, and major cost and supply health KPIs. The role drives data-led improvement initiatives and acts as the primary strategic partner between Supply Network Design, Engineering, Product Management, Finance, and regional operations.
This role is critical to material margin expansion, cost efficiency, and execution of Supply Network Design & Performance strategy.

This role is critical to material margin expansion, cost efficiency, and execution of Supply Network Design & Performance strategy.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Cost Performance Ownership
- Monitor and manage Net Material Inflation (NMI) performance and mitigation;
- Lead governance and tracking of cost savings pipeline and realization;
- Coordinate actions with stakeholders to ensure delivery to Material Margin and Productivity targets;
Supply Network Financial Intelligence
- Develop advanced reporting, tooling, and predictive insights for:
- Material cost evolution
- Strategic sourcing activities
- Supplier shifts
- Resilience and risk‑cost trade‑offs
- Maintain and continuously improve performance dashboards for executive reviews
Optimization & Execution Leadership
- Drive cross-functional cost improvement initiatives such as:
- Supplier complexity reduction
- Dual/multi-sourcing & footprint optimization
- Should-cost and value engineering
- Support business cases and financial modeling for make‑vs‑buy evaluation
Strategic Decision Support
- Support annual Strategy and Profit Reviews with robust analytics and recommendations
- Translate data into actionable, executive‑level insights
- Align performance actions to Supply Network Design Strategic Roadmap
Excellence in Data, Governance & Processes
- Standardize performance definitions, methodologies, and controls
- Strengthen accountability mechanisms and benefit realization processes
- Identify digital enablement opportunities (SRM, cost analytics automations, AI tools)
Who You Are:

For This Role, You Will Need:
- 7+ years in strategic procurement analytics, cost engineering, supply chain finance, or manufacturing cost performance;
- Proven success leading cost improvement projects in a global environment;
- Proficient with ERP procurement modules (SAP preferred), advanced Excel, and Power BI;
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of inflation indices, commodities, and FX;
- Fluency in English.

- German is a plus;
