About the opportunity we offer:
- Incident and Problem Management: Monitor and respond to production issues and user support tickets related to OTL and Absence modules, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
- Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Diagnose and resolve functional and technical issues, performing thorough RCA to prevent recurring problems. This may involve analyzing error logs, system behavior, and configuration settings.
- System Monitoring and Optimization: Proactively monitor application performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions or suggest enhancements to optimize system stability and user experience.
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues in timecard entries, absence accruals, and time processing profiles.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with development teams, system administrators, and business stakeholders to resolve complex issues and communicate status updates effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Maintain and update existing configurations for OTL and Absence modules.
- Manage Value Sets, Lookups, and Flexfields as per business needs.
- Debug and enhance Fast Formulas for Absence and Time calculations.
- Perform regression testing for quarterly patches and new releases.
- Work closely with technical teams for issue resolution and integrations.
- Maintain support documentation, FAQs, and knowledge base for recurring issues.
- Handle Oracle Service Requests (SRs) and coordinate with Oracle support for issue resolution.
- Monitor and troubleshoot integrations between OTL, Absence, and Payroll systems.
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive measures.
- Validate quarterly patches and new releases to ensure system stability.
- Provide end-user training and create user guides for OTL and Absence processes.
- Track and report on SLA adherence for support tickets and incidents.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and audit requirements.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in supporting quarterly Oracle Cloud updates.
- Knowledge of BI Publisher, OTBI, and HCM Extracts for reporting.
- Exposure to Core HR and Payroll modules
About you:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Strong functional knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud - OTL & Absence Management.
- Strong hands-on experience in OTL/Absence configurations, including absence plans, accruals, eligibility rules, time entry, and approval workflows.
- Experience with Fast Formulas, Value Sets. OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence) and BI Reporting is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 6 - 9 years of experience working with Oracle HCM Cloud, specifically OTL and Absence Management modules.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues quickly.
- Knowledge of OTL & Absence Scheduled Processes
- Familiarity with Payroll integration and time entry rules.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools like ServiceNow or Jira for incident tracking.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage client interactions effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
