Job Summary

The job profile is responsible for working on day-to-day operational activities with regards to Unified Communications 24x7 Support team. The engineer works on Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams, handling user management, licensing, permissions, and service configurations. Work closely and under guidance and direction of Team Leads. Required to work in rotational shifts in 24x7, 365 days a year support environment and over weekends as per designed shift roster.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Provide L3 support to Emerson Enterprise customers and collaborate with global Teams and engineering teams to ensure a streamlined experience.
  • Manage user accounts, licenses, groups, and role-based access control.
  • Support SharePoint Online site creation, permissions, and basic customization.
  • Manage Microsoft Team owners, members, and guests, Fix problems with chat, channels and file access
  • Troubleshoot meeting scheduling, joining, and recording issues.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to M365 group-backed Teams.
  • Troubleshoot SharePoint Site issues with document libraries, lists, views.
  • Support SharePoint site versioning, check-in/check-out, and recycle bin recovery.
  • Assist with Power platform user access, licenses, and security roles.
  • Work on Power platform issues related to permissions, roles, and app sharing.
  • Manage Teams policies, meetings, calling, and collaboration features.
  • Monitor service health and troubleshoot M365-related issues.
  • Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures.
  • Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting for M365 administration

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in managing and supporting M365 collaboration services.
  • Experience in supporting Power platform, power apps and Power flow.
  • Experience in managing SharePoint Sites, Permissions and access.
  • Good hands-on experience on exchange online, mail flow, retention and security.
  • Experience in rolling out of new features of M365 applications.
  • Exposure to Microsoft 365 admin center.
  • Highly effective oral and written communication skills to be able to converse with customers from different areas all over the world.
  • Certifications MS-900, AZ-900, MS-102
  • Exposure to ITIL processes.


Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Information Systems/Computer Science/IT or equivalent degree course.
  • Power Platform/Exchange Online/M365/SharePoint/Teams certification is preferred.
  • Training & certification in SharePoint Server 2016/SharePoint Online/Teams.
