Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.

This role is contributing to the Robotics & Discrete Automation in Bangalore, India.

This role is contributing to the Robotics & Discrete Automation in Bangalore, India.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Evaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments.
- Providing technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities.
- Assisting in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects.
- Utilizing checklists to perform design verification according to applicable standards and engineering guidelines.
Qualifications for the role
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Mechatronics.
- 2-4 years of experience in the mechanical/electrical industry.
- Willingness to travel up to 70-90% onsite for project execution.
- Strong background in Instrumentation & Control (I&C) of Automation Machinery.
- Proficiency in E‑Planner, GA Drawing Preparation, PLC, HMI & SCADA programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Omron).
- Knowledge of MES, Servo Drives, Safety PLCs, OPC‑UA, and MQTT.
- Skilled in Ladder Diagram (LD), Function Block Diagram (FBD), Structured Text (ST), and Sequential Function Chart (SFC).
- Good understanding of panel architecture and panel building, with ability to review and prepare electrical/control drawings.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols: Ethernet, Profinet, EtherCAT, DeviceNet, CC‑Link, ProfiSafe, ProfiEnergy, CIP Safety.
- Experience working with Barcode Readers, 2D/3D Vision Cameras.
- Ability to collaborate with robot programmers and application teams, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Capable of working with cross‑functional teams, clients, and vendors, while guiding and training technicians and team members.
