NOV is looking for a Jr. Accountant to join our Finance Shared Services team in Monterrey. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career accounting professionals who want to continue developing in a global, fast-paced environment while supporting financial operations across North America.
In this role, you will work closely with accounting managers and controllers, gaining exposure to general ledger activities, reconciliations, financial reporting, intercompany processes, and internal controls within a multinational organization.

- On-site: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
- Remote: Tuesday and Thursday
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- This schedule is non-negotiable
- Current students will not be considered
- Conversational English is required due to regular interaction with global teams
What You Will Do - Support month-end and quarter-end close activities
- Prepare and post journal entries with proper supporting documentation
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate reconciling items
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports
- Support fixed assets, leases, and intercompany transactions
- Assist with SOX controls and related documentation
- Support internal and external audit requests
- Collaborate with accounting managers and controllers to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Contribute to process improvements and standardization initiatives
What We're Looking For - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1-3 years of experience in general accounting or shared services environments
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar is preferred
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under deadlines
- Conversational English
- Interest in growing within an international finance organization
