This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Leads the planning and implementation of maintenance, testing, and inspection schedules to ensure the facility team operates in a safe and efficient manner, prolongs equipment lifespan, mitigates the risk of failures, and fulfills statutory obligations.
• Supervises and manages building soft and hard service operations, Support Nanjing factory construction.
• Ensures all fire safety equipment and systems undergo proper maintenance, inspection, and testing and oversees accurate record-keeping of these activities.
• Maintains records of compliance certificates.
• Ensures security solutions and services of facility/premises follow ABB security standards.
• Ensures all Real Estate facilities and services are effectively managed and monitored to maximize energy efficiency across buildings and sites, conducts assessments, and recommends energy saving solutions as require.
• Provides transparency on facility and process energy consumption.
• Assesses buildings and recommends actions for improvement in line with ABB's Green Real Estate approach.
• Manages and monitors common areas, including parking and green areas, to ensure proper maintenance, cleanliness, and adherence to established guidelines and standards.
• Manages activities such as landscaping and snow removal to maintain the appearance, functionality, and safety of the common areas.
• Ensures that all activities led by Real Estate are conducted with the necessary safety control measures to mitigate and eliminate hazards and risks, in collaboration with the Health and Safety Manager.
• Ensures compliance to ABB's asset management and services policy.

• Ensures all staff (under scope) understand ABB's core values and group safety and integrity standards and act accordingly.
• Implements and ensures compliance with the ABB code of conduct, global and local standards, tools, policies, and processes in their assigned area.
• Ensures adherence to all internal and statutory regulations and policies pertaining to the teams in scope.
• Ensures integrity and compliance with ABB values and ethics in all activities across all teams in scope.
• Accountable for the health and safety of all employees and contractors for the teams in scope, and continuous improvement in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) processes and integrity performance.
COLLABORATION / LEADERSHIP
• Promotes and enables collaboration within the division, across divisions, business areas, and teams to maximize results for ABB.
• Provides guidance to the teams and seeks knowledge for their own development and coaching/mentoring of the teams.
• Manages relationships with stakeholders in their own area of responsibility and ensures alignment.
• Ensures that their own area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled, and directed.
• Inspires, guides, motivates, and develops direct and indirect reports within HR policies.
• Builds effective, competent, and high-performing teams.
• Reviews organizational effectiveness and performs competence assessments and continuous skill upgrades.

Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's degree or above
- More than 5 years experience in equipment and facility management
- Have rich experience in manufacturing and familiar with equipment management in factories
- Candidates with team management experience are preferred
- Fluent in English reading and writing, able to communicate orally
