Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse or production facility.
- Operate cranes, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely.
- Operate simple machineries like rod cutters.
- Receive, verify, and record incoming shipments.
- Prepare and stage materials for production or shipping.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update tracking systems.
- Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of raw materials, parts, and finished goods.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, hazard-free work area.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff, production teams, and logistics personnel.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in material handling, warehousing, or logistics preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other equipment (certification may be required).
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Frequent lifting, bending, and carrying of materials.
- Ability to work in varying production and warehouse conditions (temperature, noise, etc.).
