This Position reports to:
SCM Development Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure the development, implementation, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the procurement function to support the businesses. Each day, you will execute assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by delivering and participating in training programs as required to ensure compliance and to foster professional development.

This role is contributing to the Drive Products division in Finland. Main stakeholders are supply chain management and operations. This position is located in Pitäjänmäki, Helsinki.

Core Responsibilities

• Analyzing procurement processes to identify improvement opportunities and leading implementation of changes
• Applying and maintaining procurement standards, tools, and processes to ensure quality, delivery, cost efficiency, and sustainability
• Monitoring procurement activities and developing reports in line with ABB standards
• Tracking supplier and internal performance KPIs, addressing quality issues, and implementing corrective actions
• Ensuring high-quality master data within procurement processes and tools

Daily tasks

• Business intelligence (Power BI) report ownership and development
• Supplier OTD (On Time Delivery) measurement process ownership
• Pricing update process ownership
• Tools ownership and end user support in SCM organization for selected tools, including at least WinShuttle tool, Power Automate tool and Supplier rating tool
• Development & support tasks: Procurement related process development tasks and project management, supporting procurement team in SAP data mass updates, and performing various data analytics plus other ad hoc requests

Qualifications for the role

• Willingness and ability to learn new skills and tools
• Proficiency in the following tools: Experience working with SAP MM (Material Master), strong experience on developing Power BI reports, hands-on experience with Power Automate and/or PowerApps, SharePoint site creation/maintenance including SharePoint Lists, database/SQL - ability to write queries and extract data from e.g. SQL Server/Snowflake,
• Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
• You are fluent Finnish and English, both written and spoken
• Experience working in supply chain management, procurement, operations or analyst roles
• M.Sc. in relevant field of study

Preferred skills, considered as advantage

• Experience with SAP Ariba SSS/SCC, Celonis and WinShuttle
• Programming experience (e.g. Python)
• AI/ML knowledge
