Are you a recent geology graduate eager to apply your skills in subsurface mapping, reservoir characterization, and wellsite operations within the energy sector?

We are seeking a motivated Graduate Geologist to join our Subsurface Team at TotalEnergies EP Malaysia. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in geological data interpretation, 3D reservoir modeling, and wellsite support, contributing to optimal asset development and production operations.

Activities

Your Impact

As a key contributor to the Subsurface Team, you will:

• Conduct field studies, analyze geological data (well logs, seismic), and assist in subsurface mapping and reservoir characterization.
• Build and maintain 3D static reservoir models integrating geological, geophysical, and production data.
• Support well planning activities, coring programs, and prepare geological reports and maps.
• Provide real-time geological input during drilling operations in collaboration with wellsite geologists.
• Plan and oversee geological lab analyses of rock and fluid samples according to TotalEnergies standards.
• Utilize specialized software such as Petrel and SISMAGE for data interpretation and modeling.

Candidate Profile

What We Are Looking For

• A bachelor's degree in Geology, Petroleum Engineering, or related fields with CGPA 3.5 or higher.
• 0 to 2 years of experience in geological or subsurface roles (fresh graduates are welcome).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities; fluent in English.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment.
