At NOV Subsea Production Systems (SPS), we develop solutions that power the industry that moves the world. Our flexible pipe systems rely on highly precise and reliable structural components.

As part of the Software and Architecture organization in Subsea Production Systems, the Senior Programmer will develop new and current software applications (in-house apps), that will directly impact the work in the departments of Subsea Production Systems.

You will be part of our newly established office in Brazil to improve our support to the production facility in Acu. The rest of the crew is situated in Brøndby, Copenhagen area, Denmark.

You will develop simple solutions to complex problems, work small, talk to end-users during the entire product development process, use your problem-solving approach, and be curious about monitoring the outcome of any release. In between, you will refactor your code on the go, handle non-urgent bugs or work on one of your side-projects.

About the role:

As a Senior Programmer, you will be working with:

• Internal stand-alone applications supporting different areas in Subsea Production Systems segment.
• SQL databases.
• Reduce complexity on current and future code and architecture.
• Participate in technology projects across Subsea Production Systems
• Contribute to working smarter in the team.
• Contribute to increasingly working with AI-applications/integrations.
• Close end-user collaboration.

What you need to have:

• Important: Solid experience writing C# full-time.
• Important: Experienced working with SQL databases.
• Important: Full stack Engineer.
• Important: Experienced GitHub and Copilot user.
• B.Sc., M.Sc. in Engineering, Computer Science or similar fields or autodidact within software development.
• Experience with Windows Presentation Foundation, Entity Framework Core and MVVM Toolkit.
• Knowledge of packaging and deploying containerized applications, preferably using Kubernetes.
• Important: Experienced GitHub and Copilot user.
• Pro: Experience working in agile setups and product development environments.
• Advanced English Skills
