As a Field Specialist II, you will apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform field-based tasks across a variety of products and services, including Coiled Tubing and Downhole Tools operations. Depending on experience and competency level, the role ranges from executing assignments under direct supervision to independently troubleshooting complex technical issues and recommending improvements to tools, processes, and service quality. Intermediate and senior roles act as the primary client interface at the well site, managing service delivery and coordinating Weatherford personnel. Senior roles may also support advanced technologies and provide technical guidance to management and clients.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in daily operations and safety meetings, including toolbox talks and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), and report issues promptly using appropriate systems.
  • Maintain equipment, facilities, and work areas in safe, clean, and presentable condition.
  • Monitor and analyze operational data to recommend appropriate services and technical solutions, particularly related to Coiled Tubing and Downhole Tools applications.
  • Demonstrate the required knowledge and skills to perform work processes in line with role level, experience, and competency.
  • Perform job planning activities including preparation of tools and equipment, mobilization, job execution, and completion of all job-related documentation such as job reports, WPTS entries, observation cards, service tickets, logs, and client sign-offs to support timely invoicing.
  • Be available on a 24-hour call basis to respond to customer operational needs.
  • Test, operate, and maintain Coiled Tubing and Downhole Tools, equipment, and associated systems in accordance with work instructions, policies, procedures, and competency level.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with clients to support repeat business.
  • Take full responsibility for delivering superior service quality at the well site.
  • Manage inventory and supplies required for field operations.
  • Coordinate with Repair & Maintenance teams to follow up equipment failures and ensure failure reports are completed and closed with clients.
  • Contribute to, participate in, or lead equipment failure investigations supporting Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Where required by role level, oversee, lead, and mentor Field Operations crew members.
  • Act as a technical advisor in senior roles, including interpreting data for client representatives to optimize service performance.
  • Perform engineering checks at the client location (intermediate and senior levels), including hand calculations and software-based computations using updated field data.
  • Perform other duties and activities safely as assigned by the supervisor within the physical constraints of the role.


Skills:

  • Practical knowledge of Coiled Tubing operations and Downhole Tools
  • Fundamentals of mechanics, electricity, electronics, pneumatics, and/or hydraulics
  • Mathematics, basic physics, and chemistry
  • Computer fundamentals

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 1-3 years of experience with Coiled Tubing and Downhole Tools
  • Technical Certificate from an accredited Technical or Vocational School.


Preferred:
  • Bachelor's Degree in any field
