Job Summary
As the IT Business Process Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing, documenting, designing, and optimizing business processes and application workflows specifically related to our assets' lifecycle using the IndySoft platform and associated tools. In this role, you will build strong partnerships with business stakeholders, IT, and development teams to ensure our asset management applications and processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with our organizational objectives.

Job Summary
As the IT Business Process Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing, documenting, designing, and optimizing business processes and application workflows specifically related to our assets' lifecycle using the IndySoft platform and associated tools. In this role, you will build strong partnerships with business stakeholders, IT, and development teams to ensure our asset management applications and processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with our organizational objectives.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for custom applications within the IndySoft platform and related systems.
- Design and Manage Workflows: Utilize tools like Microsoft Visio to create detailed process maps and workflows for mockups. Analyzes existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Project Management: Work closely with project managers and development teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly. Technical teams will involve working with IndySoft.
- Tool Utilization: Use Azure DevOps for tracking project progress, managing tasks, and facilitating communication between teams.
- Documentation: Prepare comprehensive documentation including business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories. Create training documentation and hold training sessions related to the application processes.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment and clarity. Manage functional email box to resolve issues related to IndySoft.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in testing and validation processes to ensure the final product meets business needs.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices.
- Agile Development Practices: Familiarize and integrate Agile methodologies and practices into the project lifecycle to enhance flexibility and efficiency.
- Travel: Up to 20%
- Security: Ensure data security and adopt a methodical, data-driven approach to define and implement business models
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field with 5 years of experience as a Business Process Analyst or a High School Diploma and 7 years of experience as a Business Process Analyst in lieu of degree.
- Ability to provide subject matter expertise in cyber vulnerability research and analysis.
- Ability to meet with customers to gather requirements and document them in DevOps or equivalent platform.
- Experience configuring applications using application user interface and related tools. Ability to generate reports relevant to asset management. Detailed comprehension of business processes and related requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Visio, Azure DevOps, process workflows, asset management systems, and application administration/configuration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate application release dates, change management, and other relevant information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Appian or other low-code development platforms is a plus but not required.
- Experience with applications related to government and commercial services.
- Experience working with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases. Proficiency in SQL Server Database Administration, database scripting, and data modeling is a plus.
- Physical Asset Management experience and integrations using APIs.
- Experience with calibration process and management of calibration assets
