Activities
As a Contract Engineer, you will manage the full contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and alignment with company standards. You will liaise with internal stakeholders to define strategies, negotiate terms, and oversee supplier performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and validate contract strategies, adapt templates to local conditions, and provide guidance on contractual matters.
- Prepare, negotiate, and finalize commercial and technical terms, ensuring compliance with HSE, legal, and company standards.
- Maintain supplier and contract databases, monitor ongoing contracts, manage claims, amendments, and renewals.
- Conduct market studies, pre-qualify bidders, define evaluation criteria, and manage invitations to bid.
- Perform bid analysis (technical and commercial) and participate in award recommendations.
- Work closely with DUET and TGP counterparts, attend committees and category boards, and report procurement initiatives.
- Liaise with C&P Methods for planning, statistics, and best practices.
- Ensure adherence to company rules, HSE standards, and applicable legislation.
- Participate in audits and support legal/insurance teams in dispute resolution.
- Conduct periodic visits to EP affiliate in Basilicata to support contract activities.

- Compliance & Governance:
- Ensure adherence to company rules, HSE standards, and applicable legislation.
- Participate in audits and support legal/insurance teams in dispute resolution.
- Site Missions:
- Conduct periodic visits to EP affiliate in Basilicata to support contract activities.
Candidate Profile
- Degree in Management Engineering (preferred) or related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in contracts and procurement within Oil & Gas.
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational skills; ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in SAP and MS Office; knowledge of contract law and procurement processes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
