Job Description Summary

We are actively recruiting for an International Retirement Leader to be responsible for governance oversight for all our plans which sit within the International region (approx 70 plans across 44 countries, as of 2025) .

This role reports directly to the International Benefits Leader and is a key member of the International Benefits Team. It also has the flexibility to be home based anywhere in the UK.

This role will have 2 equal responsibilities;

1. To continue the positive efforts and relationships in the UK associated with the main non-US plans, and to encourage this best practise to plans in the other 43 countries in region.
2. Provide strong partnerships with internal associates like Human Resource Managers, and the Labour & Employment team, and Total Reward colleagues as well as Finance, Legal, Tax. This also applies to external parties such as Trustee boards, advisers and fiduciaries

Job Description

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
  • Providing expertise and strategic advice through partnership with business leaders, HRMs and Trustees on key retirement projects to serve business needs
  • Researching market data and industry trends within retirement
  • Evaluating retirement processes and policies to ensure they are current, competitive and compliant with legal and local rules and regulations after separation
  • Preparing and distributing written and verbal information to employees on retirement plans to raise awareness of these benefits
  • Develop and maintain a governance structure and process for ensuring all plans are compliant and reporting centrally their status
  • Working closely with the International Benefits team to drive through any changes impacting these plans, including planning, design, compliance, cost impact and employee experience


Qualifications/Requirements
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Substantial experience in Retirement area e.g. Scheme Manager, Trustee, Actuary
  • Has led significant change programs in Retirement plans
  • Experience of retirement plans in multiple locations outside US
  • Proven ability to shape and influence key retirement strategy in support of business needs, while operating in a challenging environment
  • Strong influencing skills with the ability to operate effectively within a matrix environment
  • Proven organisational skills with demonstrated attention to details and solid quantitative and analytical background
  • Excellent interpersonal, consulting, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to navigate highly matrixed organisation
