We are currently seeking a Construction Engineer, reporting directly to Department Manager to join our team based in Bangkok.

About the Job

• Guide and review the work execution plan submitted by Subcontractor. Ensure that it covers all relevant aspects i.e. construction task force, construction equipment, temporary facilities, construction method and safe working conditions.
• Check and coordinate the 3 weeks look ahead schedule in conjunction with IFC drawings and material delivery schedule so that a proper mobilization plan of the construction force can be realized.
• Check the quality and quantity of construction materials and workmanship against the specified requirements and timing.
• Check the physical progress of work VS readiness (both field condition & drawings) and execute field coordination with area or disciplinary supervisor for the upcoming filed activity to void the interference.
• Ensure that the Subcontractors personnel on site are sufficient and qualified in order to undertake the construction activities.
• Verify the adequacy of Subcontractors equipment including its calibration if required.
• Check the status and quality of IFA documents and drawings used by the Subcontractor.
• Lead or conduct the under controlled subcontractor to carry out the construction works meet target date, level of quality with companys safety standard.
• Monitor the performance of Subcontractor.
• Perform the necessary reporting on actual work versus planned work.
• Verify and approve the progress report prepared by Subcontractor.
• Maintain a good filing system for working documentation and status.
• Ensure that any Changes or Deviations at site are captured in the relevant IFC drawings or documents and properly transmitted to the respective engineer in the head office.

About You

• Bachelors degree in engineering or diploma with at least 5 years of experience, preferably in Oil and Gas, petrochemical or relevant industries
• Strong construction planning capability and knowledge
• High level of safety awareness
• Good command in English
