Learning Design & Development
- Ensure learning solutions align with Emerson's Success Model and talent strategy.
- Define and implement standards and best practices for creating inclusive, scalable learning experiences that support leadership development, career growth, and capability building.
- Conduct needs analyses in partnership with stakeholders and subject matter experts; translate business requirements into clear learning objectives.
- Design and develop engaging learning materials across multiple formats-digital modules, instructor-led sessions, blended journeys, and job aids-applying adult learning principles and experience design methodologies.
- Utilize learning technologies and platforms (Emerson Learn, collaboration tools) to enhance accessibility and learner engagement.
- Establish success metrics and leverage data-driven insights to measure impact and
Mentoring Program Leadership
- Lead the design, implementation, and evolution of Emerson's global Mentoring offerings, including Mentoring Circles and One-on-One Mentoring.
- Manage end-to-end program design, development and deployment: project planning, stakeholder engagement, deployment strategies, and communication campaigns.
- Facilitate workshops, mentoring circles, and development sessions as needed.
- Build strong partnerships with regional teams, ERG leaders, business groups, and Mentoring Ambassadors; oversee vendor relationships and ensure effective program coordination.
- Monitor program effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative data; apply insights to drive continuous improvement.
Who You Are:
- Design Thinking: Skilled in applying design thinking methodologies to create learner-centered solutions, including journey mapping, persona development, and prototyping.
- Program Management: Proficient in agile project management, enabling rapid iteration and responsiveness to evolving business needs.
- Innovation & Content Development: Expertise in visual storytelling, microlearning, and interactive media formats.
- Digital Fluency & Emerging Technologies: Ability to evaluate and integrate new learning technologies and AI tools to enhance engagement and personalization.
- Communication & Facilitation: Exceptional ability to engage stakeholders, facilitate sessions, and thrive in cross-functional, fast-paced environments.
For This Role, You Will Need:
- Strong background in instructional design, adult learning theory, and learning technologies.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in learning design, instructional design, and program management.
- Proficiency with learning platform and design tools such as Articulate, AI-based design tools, or other creative platforms for developing visually compelling learning assets.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Experience designing and managing mentoring programs in diverse, global organizations.
- Skilled in facilitating learning labs, workshops, or design sprints focused on employee development.
- Certifications in instructional design, coaching, or program management are a plus.
