Are you a professional searching for a new challenge? As a Project Sales Executive you will actively prospect, evaluate, develop, drive and secure the sales of (capital investment) automation systems within the life science industry in Sweden.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Drive project sales of Emerson Control Systems, Software and Solutions to new Life Science customers in Sweden primarily within the DeltaV portfolio
  • Approach customers with a consultative and value-based approach to understanding customer expectations and business drivers and convert these into sales and business results.
  • Work in the core of our Swedish sales strategy by building a strong pipeline within new markets and strategic industries.
  • Sales ownership from prospecting new customers/cold canvas, business development to successful contractual negotiations.
  • Contribute to a strong team spirit and encourage teamwork to succeed as a team.
  • Facilitate an open dialogue with a wide variety of contributors and benefit from an organization with extensive knowledge integral to your success.


Who You Are:

Display a can-do attitude in both productive and challenging times. Effectively partner with others to get work done and communicate in various settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, and communicate diversely with different position levels. To acquire data from multiple sources when solving problems. Break down objectives into appropriate initiatives and actions. Act with a clear sense of ownership.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Experience/knowledge from Process Automation and/or Industrial Automation.
  • Documented sales expertise from cold canvas to successful contract negotiation.
  • Eagerness to drive new business - hunter mentality.
  • Minimum 5 years of Sales experience or equivalent exposure to automation engineering.
  • Experience in Process Industries, preferably Pharma/Life Science.
  • Engineering Degree in Automation/Electrical or equivalent experience from the industry.
  • Relevant Product/Application/Solution expertise.
  • Proficient in English written and oral.
  • Ability to travel to customers sites in Sweden and abroad.
  • Fluency in Swedish.


Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Previous DCS or DeltaV experience can be a plus.
