Accounting / AuditingResponsible for day-to-day management of all general accounting functions (General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, etc.), including month-end close, general ledger account analysis, preparation of monthly internal financial statements, and reporting into HFM, while interfacing with all levels ranging from executive to customers. Responsible for the development and maintenance of related systems, policies and procedures to accurately and efficiently execute financial transactions, while effectively managing staff and deadlines.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Owns the end-to-end close calendar across all Business Unit (BU) stakeholders and GFS team members, including the following:
- Map out end-to-end close process including all inputs required for a successful close and with clear ownership, dependencies, and timing expectations.
- Hosting pre-close meetings with all close participants (BU, Costa Rica, Manila, etc.) to drive cross-team awareness of business / accounting issues, deadlines, dependencies, etc.
- Lead BU-facing close meeting with presentation of the trial balance and fux explanations to the business POC on Day 3 of the close before financial reporting package (HFM) is finalized.
- Host post-close meetings with all close participants to review close performance, errors and re-work, late submissions, etc. and drive continuous improvement relative to accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform detailed balance sheet reviews, analysis, investigation of issues, and execution of correcting actions to ensure financiall information is reliable and accurate.
- Owns the continuous improvement for your BU general ledger
- Identify issues (aging balance sheet items, repetitive reclassifications, inefficiencies) and opportunities to improve speed and quality of preparation of financial statements
- Create improvement projects roadmap and present action plan to CI and Site Lead
- Regularly present challenges, projects and progress to BU POC
- Ensure supporting technologies are effective, efficient, and continuously improved.
- Ensure General Ledger reconciliations are completed accurately and timely.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining team required skills and competencies.
- Maintain adherence to accounting policies and procedures with proper internal controls.
- Coordinate and monitor GFS process metrics.
- Support internal and external audit engagement to ensure timely completion
- Enhance customer service through promotion of service-oriented approach within all functional responsibilities.
Who You Are:

For This Role, You Will Need:
- BSBA degree in Accounting, Finance and/or Business Administration required and MA or MBA optional.
- Three to five years' experience in RtR Manager role, including management of an accounting team.
- English proficient (reading, writing, spoken).
- CPA certification or equivalent.
- Experience working in shared service accounting environment.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Knowledge of accounting systems with experience in systems development (i.e., Oracle, SAP).
- Strong financial reporting background (HFM Preferred).
- Three to five years public accounting - preferred (audit & controls background).
