  • To participate in the investigation of air safety accidents and incidents as required.
  • To work with business unit aviation management to ensure actions arising from assessments are followed up in line with the periodicities stated in the reports and to ensure that, where insufficient action has been taken to close safety critical recommendations by the agreed target date, communication is escalated to a higher level.
  • To act as Country Focal Point or Subject Matter Expert for specific areas of expertise (as nominated) and to keep up to date in those subjects, understanding that these responsibilities may change from time to time.
  • To perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining templates or internal procedural manuals.
  • To identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives that will drive more focused and efficient support to the Shell business units.
  • To perform additional duties as tasked to provide regional support.

In addition, you'll have relevant experience in the aviation industry and have held management positions within an aircraft operating company or equivalent military organization.
