NOV Lifting and Handling, Poland is seeking a qualified Design Engineer. We are looking for a person who will contribute to the development of new designs, improvement of existing solutions and has a proactive, analytical and positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform 3D/2D detailed mechanical design of steel structures, machines, mechanisms etc. according to NOV guidelines.
• Apply technical knowledge to innovate, design and develop engineering solutions.
• Create or update of engineering drawings and components to meet customer requirements.
• Perform preliminary calculation during design process.
• Provide engineering support to workshops.
• Ensure correct and thorough maintenance of project documentation.
• Respond to technical enquiries in a timely and positive manner.
• Perform other duties assigned by Superior that may be necessary from time to time.
• Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in mechanical design, steel structures, material selection, welding, machining, tolerances etc.
• Fabrication/ workshop experience will be an additional asset.
• Advanced use of various CAD design systems, preferably Inventor, AutoCAD, NX.
• Experience in use of engineering math, FEM software, that allows to analyze design.
• Enthusiastic, hardworking, honest, self-starter, team player.
• Good collaboration abilities.
• Good communication in English, written and spoken.
