This role requires a visionary leader with strong analytical capabilities, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to deliver long-term value. If you are passionate about leading teams, optimizing procurement operations, and building high-impact supplier partnerships, we invite you to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, lead, and continuously refine the organization's strategic sourcing roadmap to support business growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.
  • Establish sourcing policies, governance frameworks, and best practices to ensure consistency, compliance, and high-quality decision-making across the procurement function.
  • Provide executive-level insights and recommendations to senior leadership on supplier risk, market trends, category strategies, and cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Oversee supplier identification, evaluation, and selection based on cost, quality, reliability, sustainability, and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance strategic partnerships with key suppliers to foster collaboration, innovation, and long-term value creation.
  • Serve as the escalation point for supplier performance issues, contractual disputes, and risk mitigation efforts.
  • Lead high-value and complex negotiations to secure optimal contractual terms, pricing agreements, and service levels.
  • Oversee the drafting, review, and execution of supplier agreements, ensuring full compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate requirements.
  • Implement supplier risk management frameworks, including performance monitoring, corrective action programs, and contingency planning.
  • Drive enterprise-level cost optimization initiatives through strategic negotiations, supplier consolidation, category management, and value engineering.
  • Analyze global market trends and cost drivers to inform sourcing decisions and maintain competitive advantage.
  • Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks to measure cost savings, cost avoidance, supplier performance, and category strategy effectiveness.
  • Partner closely with operations, engineering, product line, finance, supply chain, and other internal teams to ensure sourcing strategies are integrated into overall business planning.
  • Lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives, facilitating collaboration, alignment, and timely execution.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and serve as a strategic advisor to internal stakeholders on procurement-related decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline procurement processes, enhance efficiency, and elevate the organization's sourcing capabilities.
  • Champion digital procurement tools, ERP systems, and automation technologies to drive workflow optimization and data-driven decision-making.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence within the sourcing team.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sourcing team by setting clear objectives, providing coaching, and fostering professional growth.
  • Build team capability in category management, negotiation, supplier evaluation, and analytical decision-making.
  • Cultivate a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer-centricity within the sourcing organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field; an advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) from a US or UK institution is a strong advantage.
  • 4 plus years in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Proven success leading sourcing teams and managing complex supplier negotiations and category strategies.
  • Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach.
  • Strong proficiency in contract management, supplier performance evaluation, and risk management.
